ORGANIZATION

NCC is governed by a Council which consists of seven members and the Chairman. The members of the Council are drawn from institutions related to the construction industry and are appointed by the Minister for Works. The chairman is appointed by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania.

The Executive Secretary serves as the Secretary of the Council. The full composition of the Council is as follows:

The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary. It has four departments currently namely: Building Works Department, Civil Works Department, Documentation and Information Department and Finance and Administration Department. See the Organisation Structure.

The technical staff of the Council include 14 civil engineers, 3 quantity surveyors and 1 information scientists.
