The Infrastructure

Internet Africa's servers are connected to the Internet gateway in Norway via a VSAT operating at 512 kbps.

Internet Africa has backup servers always ready to be deployed if a disaster occurs and the main server is rendered useless. Client email messages and web sites are regularly backed up so that there is minimal loss in the event of a disaster.

The servers operate on a 24 hour basis with UPS power backup and standby generator for long duration power outages
